If you're having a hard time logging in, be sure to skip login and let the app update. It's nice to be able to not have to carry a piece of paper and be able to use this app for your license. Not great that you have to update it right off instead of that update being incorporated into the initial download, but not bad overall.

Installed....uninstalled...reinstalled...app will not work for me. It also will not update...says there is an update available but the notification just goes away without updating. The app will not let me log in...so basically this is garbage to me. Android user... Update: I just looked at all the critical reviews...seems many of us are having the same problems. UPDATE...I was able to download the app n get registered...have no idea what I did different. Thx for reaching out to fix my issue

Definitely needs some work. The info contained within is accurate though. One, "contact us" link does not populate an email address if clicked. Link buttons on Android app along top border are to high. They are within the top menu pulldown zone for all Androids. App is not working with night mode, you lose many link buttons. Also, not sure what is the issue, but this app triggers my virus software wanting to kill it. It thinks it is malware and has to broad control over my phone. Hope this helps

Doesn't fit phone screen. The add weather location doesn't work. Would like to see what licenses I have, not just the number. The field guide only shows fishing information on mine. Could be a good app if a little more work is put into it to make it more user friendly.

This app was fine at first but once I changed an address and residency, I could do nothing with it. My license info wouldn't come up. Tried calling the number on the app but they gave me a number to call with the state who gave me yet another to call. So I am back to printing my licenses and carrying them with me. Worthless now.

Dean Schexnayder

The app allowed me to purchase a license (I think it did), but doesn't allow access to a license. I don't know if I actually have a license, although my CC transactions say I paid for one. If I gave the game warden the same level of cooperation I get from this app, I would likely be wearing handcuffs.

Likes others have said. Other states near by have far better applications. This App UX/UI is poorly designed and difficult to use. It would appear this app was designed bad on purpose so it would fail. No other explanation. Not going to waste time scrolling back 45 years to find a birthday. Writing this comment took less time...

Downloaded app tried to sign in ,will not work, tried uninstalling, & reinstall, nothing 😑, tried sending email ,will not send, this app use to work last year waste of time now , I would think that the representation of Alabama's Outdoors would be more of a priority .

This is quite possibly the worst license app I've ever seen. You need to test the app with a NR person who has never seen it and have them try to navigate the menus and entering in data on a phone. It's nearly impossible. It took me over an hour to find and purchase a simple 7 day fishing license. Finally, after purchase, I still can't figure out what my conservation ID! When I searched, it wanted my birthdate using a calendar tool that made me click thru the months for 55 yrs...ahhh no.

I have been trying to purchase a license online and through the app for over an hour . I have purchased licenses in many states with no trouble, that is until now. I'm not sure how this company won a contract with the state, Alabama I ask you look at Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee and either make this provider hold up to a system with equivalent ease of the before mentioned or find a new provider. Update, got one after 3.5 hours, app still no good.

Frustrating. If you don't have an (OA) account, the app does not indicate how to set one up. I bought a license, received the email receipt, but the app did not indicate I had ANY license. Refresh was no help. Restart the app, no help. I had to uninstall, reinstall, then login using DoB and new Cons ID to get it to work. Pretty poor for such a simple app.

Its says to get an email of my harvest record, but I never get the harvest record email.... And when you pull up your harvest record on the app, it only shows your harvest for this current year. It would be nice to see all of you harvest record if we are going to be tasked with recording our harvest. Its hard to remember particular dates after a few years. This can help us be successful in the woods come the new season. To not be able to see your ENTIRE harvest record is just stupid!

This app is nessary for Alabama hunters, but is does not function well at all. It's jerky, it freezes, it won't re-orient when you turn the phone sideways. Honestly this app is an embarrassment to the state.

Frustrating. App is poorly laid out and freezes. Very hard to use. Can not rely on this as a replacement for paper license or game check because I never know if its going to work or not

David Hanks

Ok, this app worked well last year. But this year for some crazy reason when I went to report a harvest it would not let me get my confirmation number. Would not let me fill out the county, day, or number of points. If your going to require this to report a harvest looks like you would have junk together before you implement this on hunters, and fishers. Especially when you call the number to get a confirmation number, should have someone to answer the phone.

jason pierce

App should have all info on hunting and fishing. WMA information for each one open dates directions and all should be included. Also one should be able to view and sync licenses just like on the Go Outdoors GA App and the FWC App. Ths App is not good at all or user friendly.

A Google user

I'm able to login just fine. The app has some neat features but once I login it will not let me scroll down through the menu on the field guide.

A Google user

App doesn't work. Won't let you log in no matter how you try. Have tried many times. Just goes to calender when you try to put in your date of birth. You need to either fix it or start over.

[Edit: They helped me via email to get login working. The more people using this app, the faster it will improve - do it for AL!] Please help me to give this app more stars. I did the trick of letting it update, but still I have not been able to log in. Would love to use this app. Am using DCNR # from my license. Thanks.

The old pocket ranger app was way better. This one acts up every year apparently. My licences info will not pull up just cuts off the app for some unknown reason!! New phone now and I can't see the deer season maps. This app sucks.
